GaN ValleyTM is an initiative from BelGaN, a leading automotive-certified open GaN foundry, located in Belgium. It encompasses research and innovation, IDMs, fabless companies, GaN foundries, and multi-market customers. GaN ValleyTM acurrently counts about 60 members that are active along the GaN value chain, and are located in Europe. With GaN technologies requiring fewer components and leading to more compact devices, GaN ValleyTM is setting new standards in the semiconductor industry. It is an exciting and forward-looking field that could revolutionize the way we use electronics.
The Bavarian Chips Alliance is a competence network for the semiconductor industry in Bavaria, founded in June 2022. It aims to promote exchange and collaboration among partners in the semiconductor value chain, as well as with science and users. The Alliance supports the international positioning of Bavaria as a location for the semiconductor industry. It organizes various events and activities to promote the economic location of Bavaria in the semiconductor sector.
